In its daily briefing on the pandemic, the Ministry noted that the number of people who have received their first Covid-19 vaccine reached 24,461,955 and those who got two jabs amounted to 22,769,653, while 1,969,106 people received their booster shot.

The total number of COVID-19 cases reported since the start of the outbreak of the virus stands at 951,267, while recoveries rise to 934,373, i.e. a recovery rate of 98.2%.

The new COVID-19 cases were reported in the regions of Casablanca-Settat (107), Rabat-Salé-Kenitra (42), Marrakech-Safi (9), Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima (5), Fez-Meknes (4), Eastern Region (3), Draa-Tafilalet (2)- Souss-Massa (1), Beni Mellal-Khenifra (1) and Dakhla-Oued Eddahab (1).

The total number of deaths rose to 14,795 (case-fatality 1.6%) with 1 new confirmed death in the region of Fez-Meknes.

The number of active cases stands at 2,099, including 103 people in a critical or severe condition.
