Magnitude-4 Quake Hits Driouch Province

Rabat - A quake of magnitude 4.0 on the Richter scale was recorded Thursday in the province of Driouch, said the National Institute of Geophysics (ING).

The tremor, whose epicenter is located off the province of Driouch, took place at 16:28:18 (GMT+1), said the ING in a seismic alert bulletin.

Occurred at a depth of 21 kilometers, the quake took place at a latitude of 35,671°N and a longitude of 3,631°W, according to the same source.
