"Faced with the considerable development of its information systems and the need to ensure the continuity of services and improve the quality of services provided to its various partners and users, the ministry was one of the first administrations to establish, in 2012, a Datacenter at the forefront of technology to host its own IT infrastructure", the ministry said in a statement.
In this context, this Datacenter has been designed according to the most demanding international standards with an architecture that ensures high availability of the IT infrastructure of the ministry, the statement read.
Given the challenges of security and availability, the ministry launched in 2021 the process of certification "Tier III" with the prestigious organization "Uptime Institute" to ensure the perfect resilience of its technical facilities, the statement noted, adding that this process was crowned by obtaining at the end of 2021 the certification "Tier III Design".
Uptime Institute is the international reference for the certification of DataCenters. Its standards have been used in the design, construction and operation of thousands of data centers worldwide.
Uptime Institute's Tier standard is the globally recognized standard for overall data center reliability and performance with more than 2,500 tier certifications issued in over 110 countries.
