On this occasion, the Bahraini minister congratulated the Consul General appointed in Laayoune, stressing the strength of relations between the kingdoms of Bahrain and Morocco, reported the Bahraini News Agency.

Abdullatif Bin Rashid Al Zayani also affirmed the determination of his country to protect the interests of Bahrainis abroad and provide them with all consular services, in order to achieve the objectives of Bahraini diplomacy abroad.

The Kingdom of Bahrain opened on December 20, 2020 its consulate in Laayoune, pursuant to the decree issued by the Bahraini Sovereign in this regard.

This is a historic step reflecting the strength and depth of the distinguished fraternal relations linking the two Kingdoms, which are based on the foundations of friendship, mutual respect and respect for international legitimacy.
