During this meeting, Fettah Alaoui praised the pioneering experience of AAAID in attracting and developing agricultural investment, calling on the Authority, as a specialist in investment in agriculture, to support agricultural projects in the Kingdom and accompany the private sector and encourage it to invest in agriculture, said the ministry in a statement.
In this sense, she recalled the efforts made by the Government, in implementation of the Royal High Directions, to create a climate conducive to private investment and the adoption of innovative methods and mechanisms, highlighting the importance of the Mohammed VI Fund as a lever for strengthening private investment.
Fettah Alaoui mentioned, in this context, the possibility of support from the Authority to the sectoral Fund of Agriculture, one of the thematic funds under the Mohammed VI Fund, which aims to contribute to the financing of agricultural investment projects, strengthening the capital of agricultural enterprises and supporting productive agricultural activities through partnerships with the private sector.
For his part, Mohamed Bin Obaid Al-Mazrouei welcomed the privileged partnership between the Authority and the Moroccan Government, affirming his determination to strengthen it further and to seize all opportunities that arise to support the efforts made for the development of the agricultural sector in Morocco, both at the level of production, manufacturing, marketing and export.
At the end of this meeting, both parties affirmed their mutual willingness to consolidate cooperation and strengthen the mechanisms of partnership between Morocco and the Authority.
