CAF Cup (Day 5/Gr.D): Renaissance Berkane and US Gendarmerie Nationale of Niger Draw (2-2)

Niamey - The Renaissance Berkane drew (2-2) away from its bases against US Gendarmerie Nationale of Niger, Sunday at the General Senyi Kountche stadium, in Niamey, during the 5th day (group D) of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Cup.

Youssef El Fahli opened the score for the Berkanis from the penalty spot (22nd), before Victorien Adebayor equalized in the 36th minute and then doubled the score in the second half (62nd).

In the extra time, Mouad Fekkak equalized for RS Berkane (90th).

In the other game of this group, the Ivorian club ASEC Mimosas beat Tanzania's Simba by 3 goals to 0.

At the end of this day, ASEC Mimosas takes the lead with 9 points, ahead of Simba SC and RS Berkane who have 7 points each. The US Gendarmerie Nationale ranks last with 5 points.

In the 6th and last day, which will be decisive for the qualification to the next round, RS Berkane will receive ASEC Mimosas, while Simba will host the US Gendarmerie Nationale.
