Grand Prix Hassan II of Tennis: Matos and Vega Hernandez Win Doubles

Marrakech - Brazil's Rafael Matos and the Spaniard David Vega Hernandez won, Saturday, the doubles of the 36th edition of the Grand Prix Hassan II of Tennis, held at the courts of the Royal Tennis Club of Marrakech (RTCMA).

In this final, Matos and Vega Hernandez have beaten the duo composed of Andrea Vavassori (ITA) / Jan Zielinski (POL) by two sets to 0 (6-1, 7-5).

In the semifinals, the pair Matos/Vega Hernandez had defeated the duo Aleksandr Nedovyesov (KAZ)/Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi (PAK) by two sets to 0 (7-5, 7-6) while Andrea Vavassori and Jan Zielinski had beaten the duo Andrey Golubev (KAZ)/Fabrice Martin (FRA) by two sets to 1 (6-7,7-6, 11-9).

Placed under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the Grand Prix Hassan II of Tennis is the only stage of the ATP Tour on the African continent.
