Royal Institute of Amazigh Culture, Civil Protection General Directorate Ink Cooperation Agreement

Rabat - The Royal Institute of Amazigh Culture (IRCAM) and the General Directorate of Civil Protection (DGPC) have recently signed a cooperation agreement to integrate the Amazigh language in the field of civil protection.

This agreement defines the general framework of cooperation between the two parties and aims to improve the quality of public services, while safeguarding the Amazigh linguistic and cultural heritage, an IRCAM statement said.

Under the agreement, the IRCAM will assist the Directorate in the area of training qualified translators of Amazigh and will provide Amazigh courses for the benefit of civil defense officials, including those working in the areas of communication, media and reception.

The two parties will form a joint committee in charge of studying and developing annual programs pertaining to the agreement.
