Presented by the Minister of Youth, Culture and Communication, Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid, this regulation covers the implementation of the provisions of Law 56.20 on museums, the application of which is regulated by Dahir 1.21.48 of April 21, 2021, said the Minister Delegate for Relations with Parliament, Government Spokesman, Mustapha Baitas, at a press briefing following the weekly Cabinet meeting.

The annex on the specifications, accompanying this draft decree, includes three chapters, he added. The first chapter sets the conditions required for obtaining the label, while the second one shows a set of obligations for museums which have obtained it.

The last chapter states that the owner of the museum has the obligation to update and audit works' inventory and museum collections in his establishment within 10 years and whenever a change is made.
