In this message, His Majesty the King says he learned with deep emotion the news of the passing of the eminent scholar Sheikh Ayah Ould Cheikh Taleb Bouya, Khalifa General of the Qadiri Tariqa and a virtuous figure in the sister Islamic Republic of Mauritania and in West Africa.

In these painful circumstances, the Sovereign expresses to the family of the deceased, his relatives and all the adepts of the Qadiri Tariqa, His deep condolences and sincere feelings of compassion, praying God to welcome him in His vast paradise among the martyrs and the virtuous and to grant them patience and comfort following this loss.

Sharing the grief of the family of the deceased in this painful ordeal, the Sovereign prays the Almighty to have the deceased in his holy mercy and to reward him for the commendable services and noble deeds he rendered to Islam and for the dissemination of its tolerant teachings throughout West Africa.
