This increase is due to a 17.5% price rise in "Metallurgy", 1.4% in "Food industries" and "Manufacture of other non-metallic mineral products", 2.4% in "Woodworking and manufacture of wood products and cork", 1.3% in "Industry of leather and footwear", 1% in "Manufacture of textiles", 0.6% in "Manufacture of metal products, excluding machinery and equipment" and 0.2% in "Paper and cardboard industry," said the HCP in its recent note on the index of producer prices in industry, energy and mining (IPPIEM).
