Upon her arrival at "Bab Al Batha" in Fez, HRH Princess Lalla Hasnaa reviewed a section of the Auxiliary Forces which paid the honors, before being greeted by the Minister of Youth, Culture and Communication , Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid, the Wali of the Fez-Meknes region, governor of the prefecture of Fez, Essaid Zniber, the first deputy-president of the Council of the Fez-Meknes region, Younes Er-rafik, the president of the Municipal Council of Fez, Abdeslam Bekkali, and the Director General of the Agency for the Development and Rehabilitation of the Medina of Fez, Fouad Sarghini.
Her Royal Highness was also greeted by the President of the Fez Medina District Council, Yassir Jaouhar, the President of the Fez-Saiss Association for Cultural, Social and Economic Development, Omar Marrakchi, and the Chairman of the "Spirit of Fez" foundation, Abderrafia Zouitene.
After cutting the inaugural ribbon, HRH Princess Lalla Hasnaa received explanations on the restoration project for the headquarters of the Fez-Saiss association and the "Spirit of Fez" Foundation, which focused on strengthening the foundations and structures, restoration of woodwork and the redevelopment of green spaces.
The rehabilitation works of this headquarters, founded at the beginning of the 20th century and spread over an area of 6708 m2, required a budget of 23.62 million dirhams.
Her Royal Highness then visited the Abdelkrim Raiss room, the Moulay Ali Skalli room, the creativity space and the Ahmed Tayeb Laâlej room.
