The message focuses on the bonds of brotherhood between the two countries, and the means of strengthening and developing them to meet the aspirations of the two countries and the two brotherly peoples for further development and progress, reported the Emirates News Agency (WAM).
According to the agency, the message was delivered to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, during an audience granted on Monday in Abu Dhabi to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates Nasser Bourita, who conveyed to His Highness the greetings of His brother HM King Mohammed VI and His wishes for health and happiness, and for further progress and prosperity to the people of the United Arab Emirates.
For his part, the President of the State of the United Arab Emirates asked Bourita to convey his greetings to His Majesty the King and his best wishes for further progress and prosperity to the Kingdom and to the brotherly Moroccan people.
During the audience, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Bourita discussed ways of strengthening bilateral cooperative relations and joint action in various vital fields, including sports and youth, as well as tools for expanding them to encompass other areas in the service of efforts to achieve sustainable development and economic prosperity in the two brotherly countries.
The meeting also provided an opportunity to discuss the UAE's preparations to host the 28th UN Conference of the Parties on Climate Change (COP 28), added the Emirati agency.
The audience was attended on the Emirati side by Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Advisor for Special Affairs at the Ministry of Presidential Court, and Khalifa Shaheen Almarar, Minister of State, and on the Moroccan side by Fouzi Lekjaa, Minister Delegate in charge of the Budget.
