Royal Navy Provides Assistance to 56 Candidates for Irregular Migration - Military Source
Rabat - A Royal Navy unit on maritime patrol off the coast of Tan-Tan provided assistance on Tuesday to 56 candidates for irregular migrants from sub-Saharan Africa aboard a makeshift boat, according to a military source.
The rescued people received first aid on board, before being transported safe and sound to the Tan-Tan port on the same day. They were then handed over to the Royal Gendarmerie for the usual administrative procedures, the source added.
