Morocco Earthquake: Football League's Day 2 Matches Postponed to Later Date

Casablanca - Matches on Day 2 of the Botola Pro D2 "Inwi" football league, due to be played this Sunday and next Tuesday, have been postponed to a later date, following the earthquake that struck the Al Haouz region, the National Professional Football League (LNFP) announced on Saturday.

Earlier in the day, the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) said that the match scheduled for this evening in Agadir between the Moroccan national team and its Liberian counterpart, for the final day of the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN-2023) qualifiers, had been postponed sine die for the same reason.

This decision was taken in coordination with the Confederation of African Football, according to the FRMF.
