Earthquake: On Instructions of HM the King, Absent Prayer to Be performed on Sunday

Rabat - Upon instructions of HM King Mohammed VI, Commander of the Faithful, the Absent Prayer (Salat Al Ghaib) will be performed on Sunday after Addohr prayer, in all the Kingdom's mosques, for the repose of the souls of the victims of the earthquake that struck the central Al Haouz region, the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs said in a press release.

Here is a translation of the press release:

"Upon instructions of HM King Mohammed VI, Commander of the Faithful, the Absent Prayer will be performed on Sunday Safar 24, 1445, corresponding to September 10, 2023, after the Addohr prayer in all the Kingdom's mosques for the repose of the souls of the victims of the earthquake that shook Morocco.

May God preserve His Majesty the King, Commander of the Faithful, grant this prayer for the repose of the souls of the victims and protect the Kingdom against any misfortune".
