During this meeting, the discussions revolved around the structural reforms initiated by the Kingdom of Morocco under the enlightened leadership of HM King Mohammed VI in the economic and social domains.
Additionally, the minister addressed the Kingdom's positive contribution to the global reform agenda in addressing various global challenges, as well as on the African continent.
She also discussed the post-earthquake reconstruction plan, emphasizing the primary measures taken to assist the affected populations in accordance with the High Instructions of HM the King.
Fettah also highlighted the launch of the reconstruction program for the earthquake-affected regions, which has been endowed with 120 billion dirhams.
On her part, Yellen expressed her admiration for the resilience and efforts made by the Kingdom in facing the effects of the disaster.
The meeting, attended by several high-ranking officials from the U.S. Department of the Treasury, provided an opportunity to review bilateral economic relations and explore opportunities for strengthening them.
