The meeting, chaired by Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, was convened by the State of Palestine and the Kingdom of Morocco, chair of the current session of the Council of the League of Arab States at ministerial level, which, on the Instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, called for the meeting to be held.
The Moroccan delegation also includes the Moroccan ambassador to Egypt, Permanent Representative of the Kingdom to the Arab League, Ahmed Tazi, and Director of the Orient, the Gulf, Arab and Islamic Organizations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Fouad Akhrif.
The ministerial meeting will examine political action at Arab and international level to halt the deterioration of the situation in the Gaza Strip, and the dangerous escalation that threatens security and stability in the region.
