Royal Navy Assists 54 Would-be Irregular Migrants (Military Source)
Rabat - A Royal Navy coastguard responsible for coastal surveillance intercepted an inflatable boat carrying 54 sub-Saharan migrants, including 13 women and 5 minors, at 7.30pm on Friday, around 50km northwest of the city of Tan-Tan, a military source said.
The rescued people received the necessary treatment on board before being handed over to the Royal Gendarmerie for the usual administrative procedures, the same source added.
