Speaking at a meeting with journalists, Fettah recalled that the Kingdom had obtained substantial funding in various fields, stressing that it was "crucial" to continue building on this momentum.
As for Morocco's participation in international markets, Fettah saw it as an ongoing process. "We want our presence not to be perceived as exceptional, but rather as a regular and fruitful relationship with our investors".
With regard to green financing, the Minister stressed that this was a key issue, adding that Morocco encouraged the efforts of the World Bank and the IMF in this area.
"We are currently working with the World Bank to prepare to issue green bonds. However, we are keen to ensure that these initiatives are not just marketing operations, but reflect a real commitment to sustainable development", she said, stressing in particular the need to support the private sector in promoting green investments.
The Minister also indicated that Morocco supports the reforms of these international financial institutions. "The United States has argued in favor of increasing IMF quotas, and we support this approach," she said.
