The Brazilian expert in international relations told MAP that, alongside the economic development projects launched by His Majesty the King, which drive economic growth, there is a commitment to implement projects with a significant social impact. These projects are primarily aimed at enhancing the daily lives of citizens and upholding their dignity.
Within this context, the Brazilian academic highlighted initiatives such as the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH), the Medical Assistance Scheme (RAMED), Compulsory Health Insurance (AMO), and the expansion of social protection. He stressed that the recently launched direct social assistance program by His Majesty the King, scheduled to begin implementation at the end of this year, adds to the series of initiatives that place human development at the core of all economic growth efforts, with the ultimate objective being the welfare of the entire community.
Worth MAD 25 billion in 2024, increasing to MAD 29 billion in 2026, this aid program further strengthens the robust and diverse framework of social initiatives in the Kingdom. It also reinforces the culture of solidarity deeply ingrained in Moroccan society.
