Describing it as a flagship program of the Marrakech International Film Festival, the organizers stated in a press release that the "In Conversation with..." series offers audiences the unique opportunity to meet some of the biggest names in cinema worldwide. They added that ten prominent figures from world cinema, spanning five continents, are expected to participate in the program this year in Marrakech.

Additionally, Japanese director Naomi Kawase, Danish actor Mads Mikkelsen, recipient of the Festival's Golden Star, American-Danish actor and director Viggo Mortensen, Scottish actress Tilda Swinton, and Russian director and screenwriter Andreï Zvyagintsev will also be part of these sessions.
