According to the UN official, the confidence gained by Morocco is "a vote for the entire African continent, but also the entire Arab region."
Ms. Rochdi also stressed that Morocco's election was obviously a consecration and a recognition but also the expression of a widely deserved confidence, which has been demonstrated throughout a long history of struggle and militancy, and a culture of human rights, both at the level of society and of local communities.
The UN official also highlighted the various laws and reforms carried out by the Kingdom in recent years, which have helped Morocco achieve its current level of "recognition and positioning as a State of Law."
