"The Kingdom of Morocco has significantly strengthened its stature on the international stage through active diplomacy based on the diversification of partnerships," highlighted Cordero in a statement to MAP on the occasion of the glorious Throne Day.
The resolute approach of Moroccan diplomacy has strengthened cooperation ties with Central and Latin American countries in various priority sectors, she maintained, noting that the Kingdom continuously works towards strengthening partnerships with countries from different regions of the world and developing South-South cooperation, considered one of the pillars of its foreign policy.
She pointed out, in this context, that the advances made by Morocco are based on a comprehensive development strategy, whose benefits are now visible on multiple levels.
Regarding Moroccan-Mexican relations, Cordero, currently President of the Justice Commission in the Mexican Senate, welcomed the momentum generated in recent years within the framework of consultation mechanisms on issues of common interest, particularly at the level of executive and legislative institutions, both national and regional.
She believed that cooperation between Mexico and Morocco is poised to develop further, given the existing potential and shared challenges, particularly related to the effects of climate change and the repercussions of geopolitical tensions in several regions of the world.
The strategic geographical position of both countries offers enormous potential to strengthen their relations, she concluded.
