The meeting was an opportunity to examine several key issues with a view to strengthening military cooperation between the two countries and to explore new prospects for cooperation in the fields of defense, according to a press release from the FAR General Staff.

During the meeting, emphasis was placed on the depth and solidity of military relations between the two neighboring countries, in light of the challenges and issues facing the region.

The two officials also underlined their shared commitment to enshrining military cooperation ties and propelling them to the height of the two countries' aspirations.
