Under the terms of this document, the two parties agree to bolster their close ties, based on principles of equality, trust and reciprocity, as well as to intensify ties between the two Assemblies and resume meetings of the France-Morocco Interparliamentary Forum.
The two parties also undertake to consult each other when participating in meetings of international parliamentary organizations, of which both assemblies are members, and to promote cooperation between member assemblies of Parliamentary Assembly of La Francophonie (APF).
As part of the exceptional partnership, exchanges of experience and information, study missions and internships are scheduled, as well as conferences, fora, seminars, symposia and workshops, organized alternately by each of the Assemblies, on major topics of bilateral or international current interest.
Technical exchanges between administrations will cover exchanges of experience and know-how in legal and legislative matters, parliamentary oversight, parliamentary diplomacy, parliamentary administration, information and communication technologies, the implementation of an electronic parliament, parliamentary communication, relations with civil society and any other topic within the respective remits of the two institutions.
Furthermore, they will cover joint reflection on the modernization of parliamentary activity, as well as collaboration in training officials from the French National Assembly and the House of Representatives.
Earlier, Talbi Alami held talks with Braun-Pivet, who is visiting Morocco at the head of a parliamentary delegation.
