Riyadh - Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Hissein Brahim Taha, expressed his confidence in Morocco’s ability to host a 2030 World Cup worthy of the Kingdom’s status, adding that it will be a source of pride for the whole Islamic Nation.

On this occasion, Brahim Taha congratulated HM King Mohammed VI, as well as the Moroccan people and government for this major sporting achievement.

He wished the Kingdom every success in organizing this global event.

Morocco, Portugal and Spain were officially designated as hosts of the 2030 World Cup on Wednesday by the FIFA Congress, in an extraordinary session meeting.
