The Commandery of the Faithful, through the Mohammed VI Foundation of African Ulema, works to preserve Islam’s constants and its moderate values, which Africa has adopted since the advent of this religion for the first time on this continent, said Ali Ibrahim, president of the Mohammed VI Foundation of African Ulema's section in the Republic of Somalia.
On the sidelines of the 6th Ordinary Session of the Higher Council of the Mohammed VI Foundation of African Ulema, held in Fez with the endorsement of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Commander of the Faithful and President of the Foundation, the former minister said that thanks to the Commandery of the Faithful, the prominence of this honorable institution has spread throughout Africa and to all Africans.
He added that this initiative also aims to consolidate the culture of resilience in the face of attempts to undermine the intellectual and spiritual moderation of African society to inculcate in it the principles of extremism and terrorism.
