CAF Champions League: Morocco’s RCA Eliminated Despite 1-0 Victory Against AS Maniema Union
Casablanca - Morocco’s Raja Club Athletic were eliminated from the African Champions League despite beating AS Maniema Union of Congo 1-0 on Sunday at the Larbi Zaouli stadium in Casablanca, in the 6th and final matchday of Group B.
Raja opened the scoring through Adam Ennaffati, who converted a penalty (45 '+5).
AS Maniema Union were reduced to ten men after Taboria Simete was sent off (41’).
With this, they end the group phase in 3rd place with 8 points, below AS FAR with 10 points, and Mamelodi Sundowns (9 points).
