Snowfall, Rainfall in Several Moroccan Provinces on Monday & Tuesday

Rabat - Snowfalls (05-30 cm) on heights above 1,700 m, as well as heavy stormy rainfall (20-30 mm) with hail, are forecast, Monday and Tuesday, in several provinces of the Kingdom, the Directorate General of Meteorology (DGM) said.

Snow (15-30 cm) is expected from 12p.m. on Monday to 7 a.m. on Tuesday in the provinces of Azilal, Béni Mellal, Midelt, Tinghir, Ouarzazate and Al Haouz, the DGM announced in an orange weather alert.

Likewise , 05 to 10 cm of snow is forecast during the same period in the provinces of Ifrane, Boulemane, Taroudant and Chichaoua, the same source adds.

In addition, heavy rain (20-30 mm) with local thunderstorms and hail is expected on Tuesday from midnight to 7 a.m. in the provinces of Figuig, Errachidia, Midelt and Tinghir.
