In a press release, the Agency stated that this participation, supported by the Ministry of Digital Transition and Administration Reform, represents an opportunity for six Palestinian startups aiming to strengthen their contribution to the socio-economic development of al-Quds and the Palestinian territories, in line with the objectives set by the Agency within the framework of its 2024–2027 digital strategy, covering key sectors such as education, health, financial and green technologies, and digital commerce.
This participation reflects the Agency’s approach, under the al-Quds Committee chaired by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, to offer every possible opportunity to Palestinian startups, boost their creativity and entrepreneurial spirit in the field of digital technologies, and provide them with technical support and mentoring. This is carried out through a training and support program that includes 190 hours of specialized training.
The Bayt Mal al-Quds Asharif Agency’s pavilion at GITEX Africa Morocco 2025 (stand 20D-20) will host professional meetings and presentations by the participating Palestinian startups, as well as thematic discussions and advocacy sessions, with the aim of strengthening cooperation between these startups and Moroccan and international stakeholders in the digital field, the press release added.
The Agency had launched its 2024–2027 digital strategy under the theme "Digital development in the service of economic and social development in al-Quds," which notably includes the incubator for Palestinian startups in innovation and creativity, the “Dlala” platform for social and solidarity e-commerce, the distance learning platform in partnership with al-Quds University, as well as the “Haya” gaming and entertainment app aimed at children and teenagers.
