Thanks to a combination of structural advantages, targeted reforms, and sustained investment, Morocco is establishing itself as a key player in this rapidly growing sector, the magazine wrote.
In an article titled From Local Success to Global Leadership: Morocco’s Irresistible BPO Offer, the Spanish outlet highlighted the main drivers behind Morocco’s rise as an international hub for BPO services, stating that the country’s remarkable development in the field is the result of a strategic combination of competitive strengths.
The magazine pointed to Morocco’s strategic location at the gateway to Europe, offering clear logistical and time-zone advantages, combined with a cultural proximity that facilitates communication and understanding of Western clients’ expectations.
Morocco also benefits from a young, well-trained, and multilingual workforce, giving it access to a wide range of markets, the article noted.
Its modern and reliable telecommunications infrastructure and the development of dedicated technology zones—such as Casanearshore and Technopolis Rabat—have fostered a high-performing ecosystem that meets the needs of BPO firms, the report added.
The magazine also cited Morocco’s business-friendly environment, strong institutional support for the sector, competitive operating costs, and tailored service offerings that cater to industries such as banking, insurance, automotive, telecommunications, and technology.
This diversification reflects the growing maturity of Morocco’s outsourcing industry and the ability of local talent to handle complex tasks, marking a real move up the BPO value chain, the publication concluded.
