In the message, HM the King said that he learnt with deep sorrow of the death of Sheikh Ahmed Bin Zayed Al Nahyane, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Zayed Foundation for Charity and Humanitarian Works and Managing Director of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA).
The Monarch extended heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the UAE's President and his family following this "great loss".
HM King Mohammed VI also sent a condolence message to General Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyane, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
The body of Sheikh Ahmed Bin Zayed Al Nahyane, who went missing after a glider crash, was recovered on Tuesday morning from the Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdallah dam, near Rabat, local authorities reported.
