During this audience, Sidibé was accompanied by a delegation composed of the Director of the UNAIDS Regional Support Team for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), Hind Khatib Othman, Director of the Partnerships Department at UNAIDS, Hedia Belhadj, the U.N. Resident Coordinator in Morocco, Bruno Pouezat, and the UNAIDS Country Coordinator for Morocco, Kamal Alami.

    The three-day visit program of Sidibé in the Kingdom includes meetings with Moroccan officials and representatives of civil society to discuss national efforts to implement the Political Declaration adopted by the high-level meeting of U.N. General Assembly on AIDS, as well as the prospects of collaboration with UNAIDS.

    Sidibé will take part Tuesday night at the launching ceremony of the National Strategic Plan to fight against AIDS 2012-2016.
