HRH princess Lalla Meryem takes part in lunch banquet hosted by HM Queen Elisabeth II

London - HRH princess Lalla Meryem, who is representing HM King Mohammed VI in the Diamond Jubilee of HM Queen Elizabeth II, took part on Friday in a lunch banquet hosted by the UK Queen in Windsor Castle (west of London).

    Upon her arrival, HRH princess Lalla Meryem was welcomed by HM Queen Elizabeth II and HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

    Many kings and members of foreign royal families were invited to this banquet, during which the Queen was flanked by members of the UK royal family.

    Grandiose celebrations are planned to mark the Diamond Jubilee of the Queen of England, who celebrates this year the 60th anniversary of her enthronement.
