The 12.4 million dirham initiatives, which have a strong social impact, consist of laying the foundation stone of a socio-educational centre for the integration of young people in Dar Bouazza and carrying out a programme to set up income-generating projects in the province of Nouaceur.
The 10 million dirham socio-educational centre for the integration of young people meets the needs of the population and associations of Errahma neighbourhood, as it will provide training in income-generating professions and promote cultural, sporting and community activities in particular.
It will have areas for women and children, with dress designing/model-making and cake-making workshops, a workshop for the promotion of income-generating activities and vocational integration, training rooms for women teachers, women receptionists and maintenance agents, a room for associations and an area for child games.
It will also have, among other things, an area for young people, including workshops for training in computer science and applied computer graphics and in tapestrywork, a room for training in security and maintenance professions, a room for communication and foreign languages, sporting fields and two income-generating shops.
The programme of setting up income-generating projects, which is initiated by the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity for the benefit of several associations in the province of Nouaceur, aims at improving socio-economic conditions of the beneficiaries and their families.
In this respect, HM the King handed over equipment to a number of associations beneficiaries of the programme. He handed over a modern bakery and dressmaking and weaving material to four associations representing 232 beneficiaries.
Four dairy associations, representing 417 beneficiaries, also received equipment for the collection, packaging, treatment and marketing of diary products. In addition, 25 graduates of Errahma neighbourhood vocational training centre in building professions received toolboxes.
The 2.4 million dirham equipment benefit some 650 people. It will contribute to ensuring a better vocational integration of young people graduates of Errahma neighbourhood vocational training centre in building professions.
