In his message, the monarch voiced "most saddened condolences" to the families of the victims, imploring the Almighty God to shroud the victims in His mercy, and to bestow on their relatives patience and comfort, and give prompt recovery to the injured, a press release of the King's office said.

The sovereign also decided to pay the costs of transportation of the bodies, and the expenses of their burial and funerals, as well as the hospitalisation costs of the injured, the release added.

HM the King has given his instructions to the authorities in charge to take all the necessary measures in order to provide assistance to the families of the victims.
