The monarch's visit to Qatar is the third leg in the Royal tour that will lead the sovereign to Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates.
At his departure from the Marka airport in Amman, HM the King was seen off by HM king Abdullah II of Jordan.
The sovereign was then greeted by HRH Prince Ghazi Bin Mohamed, head of the honour delegation, HRH Prince Talal bin Mohammed, HRH Prince Faisal bin Hussein and several Jordanian personalities.
The sovereign was then greeted by Morocco's ambassador in Amman, Lahcen Abdelkhalek and by the staff of the Moroccan embassy before reviewing a detachment of the honour guard.
The monarch is leading a large delegation including the sovereign advisors, Omar Azziman, Zoulikha Nasri, Fouad Ali Al Himma and Yasser Znagui. The delegation also includes Foreign Minister, Saad El Dine Otmani, Minister of Economy and Finance, Nizar Baraka, Minister of Islamic Affairs, Ahmed Toufiq, Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries, Aziz Akhannouch, Minister of Equipment and Transport, Aziz Rebbah, Minister of Health, Houcine El Ouardi, Minister of Energy, Mines, Water and Environment, Fouad Douiri, and General Abdelaziz Bennani, Inspector General of the Royal Armed Forces and Commander of the South Zone.
During his visit in Jordan, HM the King held one-on-one talks with the Jordanian monarch. The sovereign, accompanied by HRH prince Moulay Rachid, also visited the field hospital set up by Morocco in the Zaatari camp, northeastern Jordan to receive Syrian refugees fleeing violence in their country.
HM the King had started the Gulf trip by a visit to Saudi Arabia.
