HM the King arrives in Côte d'Ivoire
Abidjan - HM King Mohammed VI arrived, on Tuesday afternoon, in Abidjan for an official visit to the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire.
At the Félix Houphouët-Boigny airport, HM the King was greeted by Ivorian president Alassane Dramane Ouattara.

HM the King was greeted by governors of Abidjan and Yamoussoukro districts, as well as by mayor of Port Bouet.
The sovereign and the Ivorian head of state headed for the VIP stand to salute the flags of both countries while national anthems were playing.
HM the King was also greeted mainly by Chief of Staff of the Army, General commander of the Army, General commander of the Air Force, the rear admiral commander of the navy, speaker of the national assembly, and presidents of the constitutional council, of the supreme court, of the economic and social council, of the national reconciliation council and of the chancellery.
HM the King was also greeted by members of the Ivorian government, the Arab and African diplomatic corps accredited to Abidjan, Morocco's ambassador in Abidjan Mustapha Jebari, members of the Moroccan diplomatic mission, as well as representatives of the Moroccan community in Côte d'Ivoire and senior Moroccan members of the United Nations Operation in Côte d'Ivoire (UNOCI).
The Ivorian president was greeted by members of the official delegation accompanying HM the King, namely HH Prince Moulay Ismail and Cherif Moulay Youssef.
The Moroccan official delegation is made up of the sovereign's advisors, Zoulikha Nasri and Fouad Ali El-Himma, foreign minister Saad Dine El Otmani, Minister of Islamic affairs Ahmed Toufiq, minister of equipment and transport Aziz Rebbah, economy minister Nizar Baraka, Agriculture minister Aziz Akhannouch, tourism minister Lahcen Haddad, minister of health Houcine El Ouardi and minister delegate to the interior ministry Charki Drais.
After a short break at the VIP lounge, the official procession went to the presidential palace in Abidjan.
Côte d'Ivoire is the second leg of an African official tour that will also take the sovereign to the Republic of Gabon.
