In these messages, HM the King underlines that this sacred month, upon which God bestows a particular aura, brings promises of pardon and reward. It is an occasion to draw closer to God. May the Almighty strengthen the will of our Islamic Ummah to remain attached to our tolerant religion and its values, HM the King said.
Islam calls for rejecting extremism and reinforcing the ties of solidarity, and commiseration among all Muslims, HM the King said.
The sovereign asked God to "assist us to foster the ties of brotherhood, unity and complementarity which unites the countries of our Ummah, as well as our capacity to address challenges, and give concrete substance to the hopes of our peoples for a comprehensive development that brings dignity, peace and stability."
