After paying a visit to the various components of the facility, Her Royal Highness attended a ceremony marked at first by reading the Holy Quran recited by a student of the foundation.
Thereafter, Mustapha Fettouh, head teacher of the school, expressed his deep gratitude and appreciation for the support and concern that HRH Princess Lalla Asmaa continues to show for the deaf.
President of the Foundation, Mustapha Mourad, noted, for his part, that the foundation has offered, for over 40 years, specialized education for deaf youths, by providing a comprehensive educational program.
He highlighted in this sense, the different actions of the foundation to help deaf and hard of hearing youths, including the use of hearing aids that facilitate education, or vocational training, including embroidery, hairdressing, ITs, computer graphics, and culinary arts.
This school year was marked, as usual, by handing over school bags and 40 hearing aids to the students of the foundation, as well as classes renovation and equipment, said the director of the foundation.
During the ceremony, students of the Foundation performed a play and different songs.
After that HRH Princess Lalla Asmaa handed over awards to deserving students, before visiting the exhibition space, set up for the occasion.
After the ceremony, HRH posed for a souvenir photo with the staff of the foundation.
On her arrival at the headquarters of the foundation, HRH Princess Lalla Asmaa was greeted by minister of health, El Houssaine Louardi, minister of solidarity, women, family and social development, Bassima Hakkaoui, and minister-delegate for national education and vocational training, Abdelaadim Guerrouj, as well as the members of the Board of Directors of the foundation.
