In this letter, the Sovereign expressed his warm congratulations to the Algerian President, commending the achievements of the Algerian people on the path of progress and development.

   HM King reiterated deep pride in the ties of brotherhood and common history that unite the Moroccan and Algerian peoples, noting that history will guide the future of relations between the two countries. It will also provide an incentive for greater efforts to achieve the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples to a better future, while enjoying the benefits of cooperation and solidarity which will help consolidate the Maghreb Union and allow the five countries to build a promising future.

   Reiterating his sincere congratulations, the Sovereign prayed God to grant health and long life to president Bouteflika, and more progress and prosperity to the Algerian people in security, peace and stability.
