In this message, HM the King said he was deeply saddened and moved to learn about the passing of professor Abdellatif Berbich, permanent secretary of the Kingdom of Morocco's Academy.

 The sovereign extended to the deceased's family, and relatives as well as all the scientists in the field, his heartfelt condolences and sincere compassion in this ordeal, Asking the Almighty to give them patience and comfort.

 Morocco has lost an outstanding physician and academic known for his lofty qualities, humility and endeavor to promote scientific research in Morocco, said the message.

 The sovereign also recalled the commendable work done by late Berbich in all missions entrusted to him as dean of the medical faculty and permanent secretary of the Kingdom of Morocco's Academy.
