On February 28, 2007, the Ministry of Royal household, protocol and chancellery had announced the birth of HRH Princess Lalla Khadija, second child to HM King Mohammed VI after HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan.
On this day, after the news was welcomed with a 21 gun-salute, groups of Moroccans headed to the Royal Palace of Rabat to express their congratulations and joy.
Eight years after her birth, HM King Mohammed VI chaired on June 27, 2014 at the Royal School in the Royal palace in Rabat, a ceremony marking the end of the school year 2013-2014 during which HRH Princess Lalla Khadija received the prize of excellence.
HRH the Princess has already made her first steps in public life and appeared in February 2013 with her mother, HRH Princess Lalla Salma, chairwoman of the Lalla Salma Foundation for the prevention and treatment of cancers, in the dedication in Casablanca of a center for children affected with Cancer.
