Upon his arrival at the Royal Palace golf course, HRH Prince Moulay Rachid, chairman of the Hassan II Golf Trophy Association (ATH), was greeted by Economy and Finance minister Mohamed Boussaid, Agriculture and Marine Fisheries minister Aziz Akhannouch, Tourism minister Lahcen Haddad, and Handicraft and Social Economy minister Fatema Marouane. His Royal Highness was also greeted by Mohamed El Yazid Zellou, Wali of the Souss-Massa-Draa region, Brahim Hafidi, president of the regional council, Hamid Chennouri, governor of Inezgane Aït Melloul prefecture, and Tarik Kabbaj, President of the Municipal Council of Agadir. HRH Prince Moulay Rachid was also greeted by Mustapha Zekri, deputy-president of the Moroccan Olympic Committee, Mostafa Zine, deputy-president of the Royal Moroccan Golf Federation, Mohamed Chaibi, 2nd deputy-president of the Federation, ATH members, as well as Executive officer of the Ladies European Tour, Ivan Peter Kodabakhsh and Commercial director of the PGA European Tour, Scott Kelly. Subsequently, HRH Prince Moulay Rachid joined the official gallery where he attended the closing stages of the Hassan II Golf Trophy. At the end of the competition, the audience observed a minute of silence in tribute to Billy Casper, the US golfer legend who passed away in February at the age of 83 years. He was a double champion of the Hassan II Golf Trophy and its Ambassador to the United States. HRH Prince Moulay Rachid then handed the Grand Prize of the Hassan II Golf Trophy to the winner of the 42nd edition, Scot Richie Ramsay and Lalla Meryem Cup to the winner of the 21th edition, French Gwladys Nocera. His Royal Highness posed for a souvenir photo with the winners, before awarding the 2nd prizes of the Hassan II Golf Trophy and the Lalla Meryem Cup, as well as the first prizes of gross and net rankings of this Cup.
