In this message, the sovereign said he was deeply saddened and moved to learn the news concerning these despicable terrorist attacks that targeted a military checkpoint east of the city of Al Arish, claiming the lives of several Egyptian soldiers and civilians.

 HM the King voiced to the Egyptian head of state Morocco's firm condemnation of this cowardly criminal act, reiterating the sympathy and full solidarity of Morocco with the sister nation of Egypt.
