At his arrival at the Ibn Yassine sports hall, HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan was greeted mainly by interim youth and sports minister Mohand Laenser, lieutenant-general Hosni Benslimane, president of the National Olympic Committee, and wali of the Rabat-Salé-Zemmour-Zaer, governor of Rabat prefecture Abdelouafi Laftit.
HRH the Crown Prince headed to the VIP stand to salute the flag while the anthems of the two finalists' countries were playing: the Tunisian national team and the Poissy Club (France).
At the basketball court, HRH was greeted by the members of the two teams as well as the referees.
HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan gave the official kick-off of the match and returned to the VIP stand to watch it.
At the end of the event, organized in collaboration with the Moroccan Royal Basketball Federation (FRMBB), HRH handed the tournament cup, named after him, to the captain of the Poissy Club which won the final, and gave another cup to the captain of the Tunisian team which ranked second.
