HM the King congratulates leaders of Islamic states on advent of new hegira year 1437

Rabat - On the occasion of the advent of the new hegira year 1437, HM King Mohammed VI, Commander of the Faithful, sent messages of congratulations to the leaders of Islamic states, wishing them health and happiness and further progress and prosperity for their brotherly people.

The Royal messages underlined that the new hegira year is an ideal occasion to remember with pride and deference the universal message stemming from the human values and ideals whose bases were laid by the Prophet (PBUH); a message advocating brotherhood, tolerance and solidarity and rejecting violence and extremism in all their forms.

HM the King concluded those messages by praying God "to guide Us, leaders and peoples, and help Us meet the expectations of our Islamic Ummah that aspires for greatness, progress and prosperity in unity, stability and dignity."
