In this message, HM the King expressed his sincere thanks and gratitude to His Excellency Poutine, the Government and the people of the Russian federation for the generous hospitality and warm welcome extended to the monarch and his delegation.
"I should like to say how satisfied I am with the positive outcome of our cordial, fruitful talks. I am pleased to note that we see eye to eye concerning our bilateral relations and regional and international matters of common concern, and that this visit has given great momentum to the strategic, multi-dimensional partnership between our two countries. This special partnership has been further strengthened through the important agreements which have been signed in our presence," wrote the message.
The sovereign voiced the will to continue working with the Russian head of state to consolidate "our strategic partnership so that it reflects the longstanding relations based on close friendship, mutual esteem and active solidarity between our two nations, for the benefit of our peoples. In this way we would contribute to enhancing global peace and security, resolving conflicts through peaceful means, combating divisions and all forms of extremism and terrorism and promoting the ideals of freedom, fraternity, solidarity and intercultural coexistence and interaction."
