In this message, HM the King said he was deeply saddened by the news related to the terrorist attack which claimed many lives.

"In this painful circumstance, I offer you, on my behalf and that of the Moroccan people, our heartfelt condolences and compassion, and voice our solidarity with the victims' families and the brotherly Malian people," said the sovereign, wishing the injured swift recovery.

HM the King also condemned in the strongest terms this despicable terrorist attack, reiterating to the Malian president Morocco's firm support for Mali's territorial integrity and Keita's efforts to restore peace and stability in this brotherly country.
